Electronic Forms
Minimize All Sections (Collapse All Button)
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
We have added a Collapse All button to the form page, allowing users to minimize every section at once. This makes navigation significantly faster on long forms with many sections, eliminating the need to collapse them one by one.
The same button is also added to the template object itself to ease navigation and question finding in long templates.
Note: In templates, it works only in the new template builder.
Bigger Font for Multipicklist Values
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
We have increased the display size of answer options in multi-picklist question types. The larger font makes the available choices easier to read and reduces the chance of selection errors, particularly in forms with dense answer sets.
Add Color Column to Template Question Export and Import
The template question export (CSV) now includes the color settings assigned to each question and section. Color data is also supported on import, ensuring full consistency between exported and imported templates, allowing the batch creation of question easy.
Relationships
Multi-Picklist Fields in Related Item Relationships
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
Multi-picklist fields can now be properly configured when defining relationships in related items. Previously, these fields appeared as undefined and could not be selected, preventing users from building relationships that depended on multi-picklist values.
Preserve Unsaved Related Items When Adding Records
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
Related items added before clicking Save are now retained when the user continues to link additional records in the same session. Previously, unsaved items were lost when a new search was performed, requiring users to re-enter their selections from scratch.
Users and Security
Recalculate Identity Packages for Users
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
A new action button allows administrators to trigger a recalculation of Permission Sets and Public Groups for users based on their assigned Identity Package. This is particularly useful following data imports where Identity Packages are set via CSV, ensuring that system access aligns with the intended configuration.
Simploud Administration Supports New Setup Views
- Indicate features available upon request, requiring custom configuration.
Currently in the Simploud Administration page you have links that lead you to the Salesforce setup, until this version if a user used the enhanced setup view in Salesforce set up, the links brolek and did not work. Simploud Administration has been updated to support Salesforce’s enhanced setup views. Links to user and permission set setup pages now work correctly regardless of whether standard or enhanced list views are enabled in the org.
Deactivation Panel for Leaving Users
A dedicated deactivation panel in Simploud Administration centralizes the user offboarding process. Administrators can review and complete all deactivation steps in a single view, reducing the risk of missed steps and ensuring a consistent, reliable offboarding experience.
To retrieve all relevant information, simply select the username and choose whether to search for records where the user was a participant or owner.
Option to Freeze User from Simploud Administration
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
Administrators can now freeze a user account directly from Simploud Administration, immediately suspending access without permanently deactivating the account. This provides a flexible intermediate state suited for users on leave, under review, or pending a final offboarding decision.
Compliance
Mandate Reason in Digital Signature
- Indicate features available upon request, requiring custom configuration.
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
For customers using our digitly sign feature – allowing to add a signature on an attached file to the record, a new configuration option allows the Signature Reason field to be made mandatory during the electronic signature process. This ensures that every signatory provides explicit context for their approval, strengthening traceability and audit readiness.
Audit Trail for Digital Signature
A detailed audit trail is now maintained for every digital signature event. Each action — including the signer identity, timestamp, and stated reason — is recorded and accessible for review, directly supporting regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
AI
Custom AI Chat Integrated in the Platform
Several use cases that you can check:
Controlled Document Version Comparison & Quiz Generation
Instantly see what changed between document versions, with a clear, plain-language summary of every update to your SOPs and policies. Then turn those changes into a ready-made quiz to confirm your team has read and understood what matters, making read-and-understand training effortless in regulated environments like QMS, GxP, and ISO.
Language & Content Check
Keep every record polished and compliant. The agent scans your text fields, documents, and communications for tone, clarity, grammar, and approved language, flagging missing disclaimers, inconsistent terminology, and off-brand phrasing before they are been published.
Keyword Search Across Files
Find exactly what you need in seconds. Because file text is fully searchable, the agent can locate records and documents by keyword, surfacing the right content instantly without manually opening file after file.
Similar Records & Trend Discovery
Surface the patterns hiding in your data. The agent reads the relevant data and spotlight lookalike records, recurring issues, and emerging trends, helping your team catch what’s repeating and act on it faster.
Training & FAQ Assistant
Answers on demand, straight from your own knowledge. The agent pulls from Matrix Quality’s knowledge articles and your records to guide onboarding and day-to-day questions, giving your team sourced, reliable answers without the search and reducing the need to reach out to customer success.
Documents and Training
Match File Name to Record Name
- Represent features based on customer feedback.

Set Watermark Brightness Level in Rendition
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
- Indicate features available upon request, requiring custom configuration.
Administrators can now configure the brightness level of watermarks applied to document renditions. This allows organizations to fine-tune watermark visibility to match their document standards – making it clear enough to serve its purpose without obscuring the underlying content.
Set Watermark Font Type in Rendition
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
- Indicate features available upon request, requiring custom configuration.
The font type used for watermarks in document renditions is now configurable by administrators. This gives organizations greater control over the visual presentation of official documents to align with internal branding or document classification guidelines.
Set Color of Watermark in Rendition
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
- Indicate features available upon request, requiring custom configuration.
Administrators can now configure the color of the watermark applied to document renditions. This allows organizations to align watermark appearance with their branding standards or use color as a visual indicator of document classification.
Option to Sort Revision History in Descending Order
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
- Indicate features available upon request, requiring custom configuration.
The Revision History table in document renditions can now be sorted in descending order, displaying the most recent revision at the top. This makes it faster to review the latest changes on documents with extensive revision histories, without having to scroll through older versions.
Bold Headers and Footers in Document Rendition
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
- Indicate features available upon request, requiring custom configuration.
Headers and footers in document renditions can now be formatted with bold text. This allows organizations to create cleaner, more structured document layouts where header and footer information stands out clearly from the body content.
Document Rendition Supports Bookmarks
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
Document renditions now support bookmarks. Any bookmarks present in your original document will be automatically preserved in the rendered version.
Google Collaboration Enhancements
- Indicate features available upon request, requiring custom configuration.
We have made a series of improvements to the Google Collaboration integration within Simploud. The updates refine the co-authoring experience, improve document synchronization, and deliver a smoother editing workflow for teams working collaboratively on controlled documents.
Cancel Previous Revision's Trainings When New Revision Is Approved
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
When a new document revision is approved, training tasks associated with the previous revision are automatically cancelled. This keeps training assignments up to date and ensures users are not completing training based on outdated document versions.
Default Training Settings Value - Keep Previous Version Value
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
- Indicate features available upon request, requiring custom configuration.
When creating a document revision, you can now choose to keep the previous version’s training settings instead of automatically applying the defaults.
Revision History
Indicate When Revision Creation Fails
- Represent features based on customer feedback.
When the Create a Revision action encounters an error and cannot complete, a clear informative message is now displayed on the record page. Previously, the action would fail silently with no feedback, leaving users uncertain about whether the revision was created or not.
Training Program
A Document Can Be Linked to Many Syllabuses
A single document can now be linked to multiple training syllabuses simultaneously. This removes the need to duplicate documents across programs and ensures that any update to a document is automatically reflected across all syllabuses that reference it.
User Will Get a Single Training Task
When the same document appears in multiple syllabuses assigned to a user, the system now generates a single consolidated training task for that document instead of one per syllabus. This keeps the user’s task list clean and prevents redundant completions of the same training material.
Dedicated Reporting Tab
A new dedicated Reporting tab has been added to the Training Program module. It provides administrators with a centralized view of training completion rates, user progress, and overall program performance — all in one place, without navigating across multiple screens.
Communication
ChatPoint - Improved UI Over Email
The ChatPoint interface for email-based communication has been redesigned for improved clarity and ease of use. The updated layout makes it easier to compose, track, and manage communications directly from within Matrix Quality, providing a more streamlined experience for teams that rely on email-based collaboration.
