Alerts & Communications

When enabled, each user will receive an email summarizing their open assigned tasks. This feature improves task visibility, helping users stay organized and manage their workload more efficiently by ensuring they are consistently aware of pending tasks.

Compliance

UAT Creation Warning Message

To simplify the validation process, we’ve added a warning message before creating a new UAT test. This prevents users from accidentally creating a new test when one already exists, improving accuracy and reducing redundant tests.

The audit trail of the original record will now log the creation of a new revision. This enhancement provides a complete audit history, improving traceability and ensuring full visibility of changes.

Document & Training

Trainers can now set a failure limit using the new Quiz Failure Counter. If users exceed the allowed attempts, they will be blocked from completing the training. Trainers can reset the counter if needed, ensuring compliance while allowing controlled retries.

Document Collaboration Permission Recalculation

A new button now allows you to recalculate file permissions when collaborating via OneDrive or Google Docs. This ensures all collaborators have the correct access, improving security and resolving permission issues effortlessly.

Since PDF files cannot be edited in collaboration tools like OneDrive or Google Docs, the system will automatically switch to the check-in/check-out mechanism when a PDF is uploaded. This ensures proper version control and prevents editing issues.
We’ve expanded controlled copy numbering from three to four digits, increasing the available range and improving document traceability and management.

We’ve enhanced permissions for the Cancel Checkout button to ensure better control over document checkouts. Now, the following users can cancel a checked-out document: the record owner, the checked-out user, and members of a group you can define.
This gives better control and flexibility in document management.

Workflow Updated

We’ve enhanced participant assignment in workflows. The system now filters participants based on record-specific conditions, ensuring only relevant users are selected. For example, HR-related documents will be assigned to approvers from the HR department. This streamlines approvals, improving accuracy and efficiency.

Navigating long workflows is now easier. You can predefine the number of visible workflow statuses, and a scrollable workflow bar ensures better visibility of the record’s progress. This helps reduce confusion in complex workflows and keeps key statuses in view.

Workflow instructions now support rich text formatting and embedded videos, enabling clearer and more detailed guidance. This enhances instruction clarity, making workflows easier to follow and execute.

Flexi Tables and Related Items

We’ve added a new Detectability attribute to risk assessments, complementing the existing Likelihood and Severity attributes. This enhancement allows for better differentiation and prioritization of risks when multiple risks share the same Likelihood and Severity. The Risk Matrix is now three-dimensional, providing a more comprehensive view of risk prioritization.

You can now update linked records in the Related Items section to their latest version with a single action.

This feature is particularly useful for version-controlled processes like Controlled Documents, Test Methods, and Product Records linked via the Related Item component. Simply click the button next to an object type to open a pop-up displaying all linked records, where you can select specific records or update all at once.

This ensures your records stay up to date effortlessly, improving accuracy and efficiency in version control.

To enhance navigation in the Related Items section, you can now sort records by any selected field, not just the creation date. This allows you to quickly locate specific records based on the criteria that matter most to you, improving efficiency and usability.

Users can now choose where to display action buttons, either within the table component or docked at the bottom of the screen. This flexibility enhances usability, allowing users to tailor the interface to their preferences for a more efficient workflow.

When deleting an item or file from a flexible table, users are now required to leave a comment. This ensures accountability and maintains a clear record of why items are removed, improving traceability and transparency.

Electronic Binders

You can now refresh binder item information with a single click, ensuring that the latest data from linked records is displayed in the folder table. This enhancement improves accuracy and effortlessly keeps binder contents up to date.

You can now hide template folders for a cleaner, more organized binder view. However, the flexibility to create ad-hoc folders from all types remains, ensuring a balance between simplicity and customization.

Electronic Forms

New Template Creation

We’ve introduced a new, user-friendly template creation page, making form creation easier and faster. This enhancement improves efficiency and streamlines the process for users.

Enhanced Audit Trail with Form Signatures

Form signatures are now captured and displayed in the audit trail, ensuring full traceability of form completion and signature verification for auditing purposes.

Prints Inputs and Outputs

The system can now automatically attach a record print as a file to its corresponding record. The print file will appear in the file component, ensuring all record-related outputs are easily accessible and well-organized.

We’ve added a reporting option to track which public groups were initially assigned tasks through training settings. This enhances visibility into training compliance and improves monitoring of training assignments.

Simplab

We’ve improved the Test Execution experience by controlling the visibility of adding new tests to an experiment. Additionally, users can now add all tests from a specific library with a single click, making experiment setup faster and more efficient.

We’ve enhanced the integration between the Experiment object and the Experiment Test Library template. Users can now map fields from Experiment and Experiment Item objects to questions in the library template. Additionally, tests can be required to complete based on specific Experiment statuses, ensuring adherence to the correct workflow and improving data accuracy.
