The sample record includes essential details such as the unique ID, status, and QR code for quick access. The record tracks information inherited from the sample template, such as storage information, GMP compliance, and amount.

Sample Workflow

Sample Workflow
Quarantine

The sample starts in the “Quarantine” stage.
The sample is isolated for verification, quality checks, or other assessments before use.

Once the sample passes the quarantine, it moves to the “Used” stage.
In this stage, the sample is actively utilized for tests and experiments as per the defined protocols.

After the sample has been used and is no longer needed, it moves to the “Dispose” stage.
The sample is safely discarded or archived according to the lab’s protocols.

If the sample is found to be faulty, redundant, or no longer required, it moves to the “Cancelled” stage.
This stage indicates that the sample is officially terminated and will not be used further.

Sample Hierarchy

The Sample Hierarchy allows users to view and navigate the relationships between samples, such as parent samples and their aliquots or derived samples.
Each sample child is a record in the system.
This hierarchical organization helps understand the lineage and dependencies of samples, ensuring efficient tracking and management.
