Salesforce Security Update

Starting February 3, 2026, Salesforce will introduce an additional security step for some users when signing in using Single Sign-On (SSO).

What’s changing

When you sign in to Salesforce from a new or unrecognized device or browser, you may be asked to verify your device one time. This helps protect your account and company data.

What you may need to do

  • If prompted, confirm your login using the verification email sent to you
  • Once verified, you won’t be asked again on that device and browser

What’s NOT changing

  • Your username and password stay the same
  • SSO continues to work as usual
  • This does not happen every time you log in

Important notes

You may be asked to verify again if you:

  • Use a different browser or device
  • Use private/incognito browsing
  • Clear browser cookies or site data

For the best experience, please use your regular browser (not private mode) when accessing Salesforce.
