Post Release Updates – Winter 26 (WI26)
All corresponding actions were determined via the issue management process of Simploud.
1. Missing Risk Entry in Salesforce Risk Assessment
- Type: Human Error
Description: Regarding the Data Export Feature, starting with the Winter ’26 release, Salesforce introduced a new rate-limiting mechanism that enforces a mandatory 60-second waiting period between download attempts. Concurrent downloads of multiple export files may result in error messages. This risk was not initially included in the SF risk assessment and has now been documented accordingly.
Actions Performed:
- Add the missing risk entry to the QMS.
- Train the Customer Success team on the new Salesforce download rate-limit behavior.
Status: Completed, 23 Nov 2025
2. Prefix of Controlled Copies Not Showing
- Type: Bug
Description: The prefix text for certain selected fields was not sent to the server during PDF conversion, resulting in missing prefixes in the generated controlled copy documents.
Actions Performed :
- Issue solved by the development team.
Fix implemented in the PDF conversion logic to ensure all selected field prefixes are transmitted correctly.
Status: Ready in Sandbox; scheduled for production deployment in the coming days, updated on 23 Nov 2025.
3. Copies Not showing and Numbers Skipped
- Type: Change of Feature
Description: When the system failed to generate a file for a specific Controlled Copy record, that record was hidden from display. This caused concerns regarding visibility, traceability, and compliance completeness.
Actions Performed:
- Due to our enhancement to avoid ID duplication in the controlled copies record, we have made the change that records will be created before the files.
- All Controlled Copy records will now be visible.
- If a record’s file fails to generate, the user can select “Unlock” and then “Request Copy” to generate a new file.
- Added enhanced user controls, allowing users to regenerate a missing file in the event of a failure, improving transparency and recovery options.
Status: Ready in Sandbox; scheduled for production deployment in the coming days, updated on 23 Nov 2025.
