Document Review

Overview

If the document is already in an “Effective” status and you wish to make changes, you would initiate a revision process.

This involves creating a new version of the document, where you can implement the desired changes.

This process ensures that the document’s history and integrity are maintained, and that all modifications are properly documented and reviewed before the document is once again marked as “Effective”.

Periodic Review

A process where you can set up a document maintenance task that will be sent out to the record owner, the task will be defined by a month cycle field and the notification days field (the numberof days the owner will want to receive an email notification prior to the coming review). The purpose is to decide whether the record should be kept effective or go through a revision due to some change.
