Introduction

This Project Plan is designed to help you understand both the implementation process and the capabilities of the QMS Controlled Document module.

Beyond outlining timelines and validation steps, this document serves as a design guide. It highlights the system components that can be configured, adjusted, or expanded to match your internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

During the design stage, you will define how your document control process should function inside the system — including workflows, approval steps, permissions, PDF structure, automation rules, and training requirements.

By reviewing each section, you will gain clarity on:

  • What the system supports out-of-the-box
  • What configuration decisions are required from your team
  • What types of change requests can be made during implementation

This structured approach ensures informed decision-making before Going-Live and a full review of the functionalities before going to Validation.
